"One of the world's best winter playgrounds", the Espace Killy offers 300 kms of piste for all abilities and the off-piste possibilities are countless.

The village, just a 10 minute walk from the chalet, still retains an 'olde worlde' charm but offers an excellent selection of boutiques, sports and leisure facilities, cafes, restaurants, bars and a buzzing nightlife.

Situated at the foot of the Solaise slopes with skiing to and virtually from the doorstep, Chalet Genevieve offers beautiful views over the Manchet valley and Val d'Isere

The spacious lounge has a log fire and picture windows and opens onto the south-facing terrace. All rooms have private bath or shower and wc and are equipped with radio alarms and hairdryers.

The day starts with a cooked breakfast (continental in the summer), porridge, cereals and breads. After skiing, there is afternoon tea with home-made cake.

Enjoy a pre-dinner drink before your four course evening meal. Select wines are served throughout dinner and it is rounded off with coffee and chocolates.

Our top priority is that you feel totally at home and that you want for nothing. We are there not only to ply you with tasty fayre but also to help you to get the most out of your holiday.

Relatively few have experienced the delights of summertime Val d'Isere. As well as summer-skiing on the glaciers, mountain-biking, riding and rafting are just a few of the many activities on offer.

But it isn't all about energetic pursuits. You may just want to sit and let the peace of the stunning alpine scenery engulf you whilst you wait patiently for a glimpse of a marmot or unwind over a good book.

The village is easy accessible by plane, train or automobile. In the winter, buses run regularly from Geneva and Lyon airports taking approximately 3.5 hours. From Calais, it is about a 9 hour drive and we have 3 parking spaces at the chalet.

The Snowtrain and Eurostar offer train services throughout the day and overnight. We shall be happy to assist you with your travel arrangements in any way we can.

After several years experience in the travel industry, both in product management and as a resort representative, Jenny wants to offer you a home away from home where the emphasis is on quality, a high level of service and where your individual needs will be catered for.

She combines her training at Leith's School of Food and Wine with her love of cooking to create a varied and tasty cuisine. Having guided as a Ski Club of Great Britain representative in the Espace Killy, Jenny can also help you to find the best snow and the slopes most suited to your ability.
